đWeâre excited to announce that the AIM4VET project will be represented at the 26th International Conference on Artificial Intelligence in Education (AIED 2025), taking place from July 22â26, 2025 at the University of Palermo, Italy.
đ Our team will contribute to the workshop âAI Literacy for Allâ with two short papers grounded in AIM4VETâs teaching units, showcasing how AI can be meaningfully integrated into vocational and technical education.
đ Paper 1
“Exploring the Potential of LLMs for Human-Robot Interaction in AI Literacy Education“
This contribution presents a classroom activity where students build a Python-based language interface for a simulated robot, engaging with Large Language Models (LLMs) to better understand how AI interprets and responds to humans. The activity promotes critical thinking around generative AIâs capabilities, limitations, and ethical concerns â fostering transparency, explainability, and responsible use. Developed and tested in AIM4VET project, across Spain, Portugal, and Slovenia in multicultural settings.
đ Paper 2
“Exploring the Potential of Evolutionary Robotics in VET: Real-world Optimization with Dobot and RoboDK“
This work focuses on hands-on, project-based learning with Dobot robots and RoboDK simulation, where VET students apply evolutionary algorithms to solve real-world object manipulation challenges. It encourages skills in scripting, automation, optimization, and adaptive control â all core to AI literacy in Industry 5.0 environments.
đ As AIM4VET reaches the end of its project cycle, we are proud to share our practical, inclusive and openly available results with the international research community, advancing AI literacy and robotics education for the future of vocational training.
