Our Slovenian partners participated in the ROSUS 2025 conference, held in Maribor on March 20. The conference showcased how the AIM4VET project is influencing university-level education.
👥 Žiga Emeršič, Gregor Hrastnik, Nataša Meh Peer, and Peter Peer presented their paper:
“AIM@VET-Inspired University Level Education Strategies for Teaching Computer Vision and Biometrics”.
The paper introduces an innovative teaching approach built on structured, AI-assisted coding exercises using Jupyter Notebooks, encouraging active learning and practical application. These materials are based on the AIM4VET Teaching Units on Computer Vision, adapted to the context of higher education.
🎓 By combining hands-on tasks, in-person presentations, and discussions, this method strengthens students’ understanding and prepares them for real-world AI challenges in computer vision and biometrics.
📍 The ROSUS conference (“Computer Image Processing and its Applications in Slovenia”) continues to build strong connections between researchers, industry experts, and developers — and we’re proud to see AIM4VET at the heart of this dialogue.
