Integrating new Magician Robot Arm

  • by

🚀Exciting News from AIM@VET! 🚀
We are thrilled to announce that we will start using the Magician Robot arm in our training sessions! 🤖✨

The Dobot Magician is the world’s first desktop-grade 4-axis robot, capable of performing a wide range of tasks like 3D printing, laser engraving, calligraphy, and drawing. With 13 interface ports, it supports secondary development, lab projects, and robotics curricula.

This robot is an excellent addition to the VET curriculum, especially for students aiming to enter the industrial automation sector. Its use connects the training directly to the needs of the labor market, giving students hands-on experience with robotic systems that are becoming increasingly essential in modern industrial processes.

By learning robotics, control systems, and programming, students are better prepared for real-world challenges in automation.

We will be using it both with the physical robot and its compatible simulator, RoboDK, allowing students to gain practical skills even when the physical equipment is unavailable. This dual approach ensures we meet industry demands while providing versatile learning experiences.

Stay tuned for more updates! 🌟
