🔹AIM@VET Still Inspiring Educational Activities

  • by

We hope everyone had a great start to the year and enjoyed the holiday break. As the new term begins, we’re happy to share with our followers some of the activities inspired and enabled by the project that continue to take place in schools and educational institutions.

📍 At CIFP RODOLFO UCHA, students and teachers recently attended a talk by 3.14, a software development company specialising in artificial intelligence–driven solutions. During the session, the team shared their professional experience on how AI agents are changing the way software is created. The final discussion highlighted key ideas promoted throughout the project: the importance of critical thinking, asking the right questions, and maintaining a solid knowledge base in order to understand, audit and validate AI-generated results.

🎓 At the University of Ljubljana, the training modules developed within the project are being actively used in ongoing courses, allowing students to work with real educational materials that connect foundational knowledge with practical applications in computer vision and artificial intelligence.

🏫 Meanwhile, in Velenje, students and teachers took part in the Fair of Perspective Vocations of the Future in the Savinjska and Šaleška region. Gregor Hrastnik  represented the school through live demonstrations and hands-on configurations, using computer vision and robotics examples to engage visitors in discussion and reflection on how these technologies are applied in practice and how the skills developed in class translate into real professional contexts.

We’re delighted to see these project-driven activities continuing to appear in classrooms and learning spaces, supporting meaningful discussion, experimentation and learning across different educational levels.

Looking ahead, we’re also beginning a new chapter with RAISE, a new Erasmus+ project which builds on the foundations of AIM@VET. RAISE brings together institutions from Spain, Portugal, Belgium, Montenegro and Albania, with the shared goal of advancing AI literacy and contributing to a more resilient, inclusive and sustainable education across Europe.

We’ll share more about RAISE in the coming months and will direct you to its dedicated communication channels as soon as they are available.
